MAC Trailer Winter Nationals Crowns Four All-Star Competitors
Fairfield, Ohio (March 30th, 2026) –– After three days of show and shine festivities, the M[d-America Trucking Show concluded with the MAC Trailer Winter Nationals Truck and Tractor Pull. Four hard-charging classes were showcased on the legendary Freedom Hall track with three veteran pullers and one young gun taking home wins.
In the opening class, the ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks had eight of the best pullers in the nation squaring off for track supremacy. The win went to rising star Marshall De Broux and the "Flam-A-Bull" Dodge, roaring to a distance of 231.02 on the sixth pass in the contest. Second went to Tyler Witt piloting the "American Pride" RAM to 222.70, and third went to Erik Stacey and the potent "SmokinYA HD" Chevrolet at 221.66.
Following the Super Stock Diesel Trucks, the Light Modified Tractors brought noise and thunder into Freedom Hall featuring ten top-tier competitors. Winning the class on a stellar run of 242.14 was pulling legend Wayne Sullivan, guiding "The Kentuckian" into a familiar spot, in career that's spanned six decades. Don Nelson and the "Bull Buster" soared into second at 228.82 with Wayne Bunnage in third aboard "Stronger than the Storm" at 225.09.
After the Light Mods completed their battle, the Pro Stock Tractor class featured 16 combatants with a familiar name at the top. Class standout Brandon Simon and the "Loud and Heavy" Deere laid down a strong run of 239.88, and that pass held up until Kevin Masterson and the "River Rat" Deere made a near-perfect run to 249.00 on the seventh hook in competition to clinch the win. Simon held on for second, while James Ray guided the "MAC Nasty" Deere into the third spot at 236.35.
Wrapping up the evening was the MAC Trailer Hot Rod Semi class. The class saw an early lead change where Joe Bonner's run of 235.43 in the "Macksimus Prime" Mack was eclipsed by Chris Wood and the "Class Act" Pete who blasted out to 239.11. On the final run of the class - and show - RJ Simon overtook Wood for the win in a blast to the beach at 242.11 in the "Drivers Wanted" Pete to raucous applause from the fans.
"The MAC Trailer Winter Nationals was a huge success," commented Johnathan Mears with the IHRA Pro Pulling Series. "We want to thank the pullers and fans who joined us in Freedom Hall and the fans who watched online as well. A big thank you goes out to Toby Young, (President of Exhibit Management Associates and the organizer of the Mid-America Trucking Show) and Mike Conny (MAC Trailer) for making the pull possible. Ag Revolution was a great help, supplying us with the hard-working Fendt and Massey Ferguson tractors used on the track. Dan Cristiani and Mike Whitt brought their wealth of experience with the Freedom Hall track as well and we thank them and their teams for their efforts too."
