Final Clash of Champions Tour Pulling Season Set for This Weekend at Southern Illinois Showdown
Sellersburg, IN (September 3rd, 2025) - As the name of the event the suggests, the Southern Illinois Showdown presented by the Lutz Agency, is the final battleground for several classes of the Hot Shot's Secret Pro Pulling League this weekend on Friday, September 5th, and Saturday, September 6th. Contested at the acclaimed Track at Holzhauers in Nashville, Illinois, it's a massive weekend of pulling action.
Five classes will crown 2025 Champions at Nashville. The Pro Stock Tractor class presented by Lemke Motorsports has the multi-time class champion "Tinker Toy" Deere from Masterson Farms (driven by Darryl Folz and Joe Harris) atop the leader board coming into Nashville. Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Trucks presented by Optima Batteries has another past champion ahead of the pack with Jared Nelson and the "Midnight Revenger" Chevrolet setting the pace in their final weekend of action. The Mini Rod division presented by SCS Gearbox has a definite battle for the top spot with 12 points separating the first and fifth points positions. The "1/2 Past Midnight" of Jeremy and Jared Nelson holds that slim Mini Rod lead over Peter Norton ("Category 1"), Bret Berg ("Cash Cow"), Bruce Slagh ("Show No Mercy") and Tyler Slagh ("Have No Mercy").
Also crowning a champion on the Hart' Diesel Silver Series is the Kawasaki Parts Warehouse 95 Limited Pro Stock Tractor class with John Meier, Jr. and the "Meier Performance R&D" IH just four points ahead of Adrian Cox and the "Hickory Hooker" IH. This class is also competing for Champion Seed Western Series points,sponsored by Sancrest Trailer Sales, with Cox leading the pack with four hooks left. The final class ending its season in Nashville is 5.0 Pro Stocks in Champion Seed Western Series competition with the "Change of Pace" CaseIH of Brad and Brennan Begeman set to clinch the title in Nashville.
Two other classes, Sancrest Specialized Transport 85 Limited Pro Stock Tractors and Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, join the fray in Champion Seed Western Series action.
