Smith Clinches Third Straight Hull Machine Light Pro Stock Championship
Sellersburg, IN (November 26th, 2025) - The 2025 season for the Hull Machine Light Pro Stock Tractor class in the Hart's Diesel Silver Series saw the returning, back-to-back champion score yet another title—but not without a battle throughout the season.
Chambersburg, Pennsylvania's Matt Smith and the "Fast Forward" Ford had a great season leading into the two final sessions at the Lanesville Heritage Festival in Lanesville, Indiana. Even as he amassed two wins and finished in the top five at all the events he contested, he was two points out of the points lead to the Ford/New Holland "Black N Blew" machine of Shane Scott. In those final two sessions, Smith claimed first and second place in Lanesville, while Scott nabbed a pair of third-place finishes. Smith would capture the title by a scant four-point advantage with Scott in second and Mark Smith and the "Faster Yet" Ford in third, making a clean sweep of the top three machines based in Pennsylvania.
Matt was honored at the recent Champions Banquet at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, Kentucky. Congratulations, Matt, on your third straight Hull Machine Light Pro Stock Title!
