Nelson and "Midnight Revenger" Clinch 2025 Super Modified TWD Truck presented by Optima Batteries Title
Sellersburg, IN (October 17th, 2025) - The Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Truck class presented by Optima Batteries is a hotly-contested division on the Champions Tour of the Hot Shot's Secret Pro Pulling League with a huge cast of outstanding competitors. The race to the top in 2025 featured a familiar name outlasting the rest and reasserting his place as the best of the best for the season.
Jared Nelson and the "Midnight Revenger" Chevrolet from Altamont, Illinois, used top-flight consistency to claim the 2025 title. With a roaring start of three wins and two second-place finishes in the first five events, Nelson was able to weather the sting of two sub-par finishes at Goshen, Indiana, and Evansville, Indiana, mid-season by rattling off four podium finishes in the final five events of the season to clinch his third points title in the class. The top two spots were a family affair for sure, with Jared's wife Bethany and the "Sweet Revenge" Chevrolet in second place in her bid to add to her collection of Two Wheel Drive points championships.
Congratulations to Jared as he and his fellow points champions are honored at the 2025 Champions Banquet on November 15th at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, Kentucky.
