Veteran puller Terry Hagedorn has had his fair share of ups and downs in the sport of pulling but the emotions he felt in the 2011 Lucas Oil Champions Tour season had not been equaled by a lifetime spent in pulling. What began as a nightmare for Terry, ended in jubilation when he not only claimed his second Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Championship but did so by pulling off a convincing win at the “Diamond of Dirt tracks” Lucas Oil Speedway in his home state of Missouri.

In just a few short days the 2011 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Champion in the Super Farm Tractor class will be standing in the front his family and his peers in a suit.  The suit John Kutz will be wearing will not be his familiar black and white fire suit he dons while competing on the Champions Tour; his suit will be much like the one he wore at the Champions Tour Banquet while accepting his first Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League championship.

Over the course of the 2011 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League season, there truly may not have been a more dominating performance than that of the Two-Wheel Drive champion, Jeremy Nelson.  Nelson, of Sidney, Illinois has been a continual threat on the Champions Tour as he has seen is 1941 Dodge Midnight Gambler finish in the top five of the points over the last several summers.  However, from the onset of the season of 2011 something was different about the Midnight Motorsports Team and their approach to pulling.

The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will conclude the month of July on the Champion’s Tour, with its yearly sweep from the northeast to the southwest corner of the state of Indiana. The grueling heat and challenging travel make this trip one of the more demanding weeks on the Champion's Tour.

The exciting competition will begin Thursday with the Elkhart County Fair in Goshen, Indiana. This annual stop on the Champion’s Tour has become recognized by fans nationally for an action packed schedule, which calls for an entire day of pulling in front of the Grandstand. The Pro Pulling League session will kickoff at noon and pull through the evening with all eight of the nation’s premier league classes taking their shot to win at America’s second largest county fair.
