Tony Tatum and his Parts City Auto Parts Super Modified

Charlestown, Indiana (December 27, 2017) - The Wagler Competition Products Midwest Region of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League had an all-star cast of pullers entertaining fans in 2017 and today we focus on the points champion of the Super Modified Two Wheel Drive division, Tony Tatum and his Parts City Auto Parts S10.

With only six hooks on the season for the class every session of competition was critical to a championship. While he did not win any of the six hooks Tatum was able to run at the top of the class throughout the season. The championship was decided at the last hook of the season in Lafayette, Tennessee where Tony and his daughter Lisa, driving her Full Throttle S10, would have a shootout for the season’s championship. Tony edged out Lisa by four positions at Lafayette and gained the title by four points. Finishing third in the class for the season was the Thin Blue Line machine of Brian and Tim Messer and Bobbie Barbee wheeling the Willy Makit Willys into the fourth position.

Congratulations to the Tony-and Lisa-for their 1-2 finish for the points championship!
