The Lucas Oil PPL will again stop in the majestic middle TN area at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds in Crossville, TN; for a night spectacular.
The House of Hope is a short term care facility adding children forced due to enduring a toxic, dangerous environment at home due to methamphetamine use and manufacture or other forms of abuse and neglect. The children are silent victims of neglect persecution and injury. After the children are removed for the home, we offer a safe place to eat, play, and rest for a few hours or days while waiting for relatives or foster families to take them to a new home.
The House of Hope has a wide range of activities planned starting at 10:00 am on Saturday June 27 caring for hope, cruise in with the Crossville Cruisers LLC, Kid Fest, Kid’s Pedal Pull, live karaoke entertainment, games with prizes, concessions and a community benefit auction and an audio competition provided by Audio Works, and to round out the day the action will be in front of the main grandstands.
The gates open at 4:00 pm to the 105.7 THE HOG sponsored Lucas Oil PPL, Midwest Region event. The night features three classes of competitors. The Pro-Stock 4x4 truck, featuring Phil Cox’s “Mr. Breeze” will make its season debut, and serious contenders such as Tim Beatty from nearby Jamestown, TN and the Kincaid brothers from Lagrange, KY’s with “Wicked” will have something to say about the victory.
The crowd favorite, smoke blowing Super Farms will be hotly contested by Mac Darnell’s “Maximum Overdrive” and the “Red Scorpion” he pilots against the green brigade of Greg Lamb’s “Black Viper” and rookie sensation Blaine Fraker’s “Agitator”.
To Round out the action the Mountain Motor PRO MOD 4x4 trucks will flex their muscles on the TN clay. LeAnn Tormoehlen will show the class it’s not just about the boys with her new pink and white Chevy “Charmed”. Last year’s winner Jake Zaring of Fillmore, IN with his Dodge “Dixie Chopper” will look to keep the crown of Crossville in 2009.
The Mountain Farm international and Phillips Disturbing will again sponsor a Dixie Chopper giveaway worth six thousand dollars during the evening. For more details check out the Country Giant 94.7 or at www.countrygiant.com.
